Are you aware? Approximately 1100 college students commit suicide each year, making it the second-leading cause of death among college students. Roughly 12% of college students report the occurrence of suicide ideation during their four years in school. Recent research published in the Journal of the American Medical Association indicates the suicide rate for teens ages 15 to 19 is at its highest point in 20 years, and that suicide is now the second-leading cause of death for that age group, Education Week reports.
A MESSAGE OF HOPE
VIDEO
OneLife is a contemporary Pop/Rock band that can cover the current popular music. They bring a message of encouragement, of not giving up, where-ever they perform. Never preachy.
While being the singer of a touring band can be enough of a work-load for nearly anyone, Joel doesn’t stop there. He is also a suicide prevention advocate and recently had a movie come out on amazon prime about his struggles with depression and suicide.
You'll find OneLife gets the student's attention, has them captivated with their music, and offers that most important uplifting message of hope, and continuing on.

Joel also is a co writer for the American Idol contestant, Layla Spring. says Jackson.
Joel regularly makes trips to Nashville to co-write with artists in the city. Joel’s band has opened up for many artists over the years including Switchfoot, Jamie Grace, Fireflight, For King & Country and many others.
