Magician Uncle Red

He’s a Louisville native who grew up in the south-end. Uncle Red has been doing magic ever since he can remember. He did shows when he was a teenager to earn money to take his future wife on dates. He was a “regular” on the TV show, High Varieties.
With the birth of his two daughters, it was natural to perform more for younger children. He continued to do this with his nieces and nephews, which evolved into his present day family show (and his stage name “Uncle Red”)

Although he performs at a lot of birthday party shows, it’s not all that he does. He performed two hours of “walk around magic” on the Belle of Louisville during the Great Steamboat Race. He did a short 10 minute performance at a recent wedding reception. Uncle Red has also performed at the Kentucky State Fair for the past several years. And he always very busy around the Christmas holidays performing 30 – 40 minute shows.
Each show is custom designed for the occasion and age group, whether it’s 30 minutes, 40 minutes, a full one hour stage show, or strolling for your group.
