MEDIA KIT – ANTHONY TRUITT HAUNTINGS ARCHEOLOGIST

Introduction

Anthony Truitt, a Hauntings Archeologist explores the phenomena that surrounds us every day. Anthony does not claim to be a psychic in his own right. He does, however, seem to have the ability to recognize this talent in others and help them to focus and hone any abilities that they may demonstrate.

Visitors have a chance to see, touch and examine artifacts from his explorations at your venue, while testing their own powers of observation as well as their ability to connect to any latent mental, psychological or spiritual “gifts” they may have. If events are favorable, they may even get the chance to attempt to call up the spirit of a lost departed soul.

Show Details

Each and every performance is unique. All members of the audience are given notepads to write down clues as they interpret them. Some of the experiments used may include*:

We start with some truly random card guessing to get warmed up. Very short discussion of what will happen this evening.

We examine an invention based on some work done by Thomas Edison, a device for talking to the dead.

Wallpaper samples from some of the rooms are divided by an audience member into groupings of samples from an event that happened, and samples that are not involved in that event. The entire audience makes a “random” selection of a particular wallpaper sample that shows the influence of the spirit world.

Anthony shows the ability to “feel” the difference between dirt samples that are plain, from a cemetery and from an actual grave.

A member of the audience tries to feel the difference between covered samples and it is shown that their selection shows definite spiritual influence.

An antique “spirit portal” in shown. An audience member places their hand inside the test box and awaits a sign of positive contact.

An audience member selects someone else from the audience to receive a sign “from beyond” that marks them as sensitive to outside influence.

Tests done with books and blank slates are used to show “direct” contact with a known spirit.

Anthony has spent years investigating the weird and unusual, traveling extensively to bring his particular expertise to varied locations to look into strange and bizarre occurrences.

In September Anthony was called to the Serralles Castle in Ponce, Puerto Rico to look into the claims that a small house on the Serralles Castle property was haunted, and as recently as early November Anthony was requested by Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana to come put on a demonstration of some of his techniques for an audience of interested students.

FAQ’s

Question: “Are you a psychic?”

Answer: No, but my experiments have taught me that I seem to have some ability to draw our these abilities from others that feel they have them. I can help a person or audience focus their attention until whatever gifts they may have are given the opportunity to emerge.

Question: “Have you ever seen a ghost or spirit?”

Answer: I have not but I have witnessed things many times that I could not explain from a strictly physical point of view. I am willing to acknowledge that I have had experiences that could be called “other worldly”.

Question: “Do you do private readings or will you try to contact my relative that has passed over?”

Answer: No, the contacts that I make during my experiments are ones that I have experience with and control over, at least to some degree. I never want my demonstrations to become sad or hurtful. We are here to entertain and enjoy ourselves in this unusual and fascinating realm.

Question: “Would you classify yourself as a “believer”? “

Answer: I usually say that I am a skeptic. I come from a point of view that makes me want to explain everything from a rational and physical point of view.

Question: “Will you come to my location and research my “haunting” experiences?”

Answer: Yes, depending on what you hope to accomplish and why you want to delve into those particular matters. For me personally, I always want to do these things in “good spirits” 🙂 with a sense of fun and adventure.
